To honor and remember our fallen heroes this Memorial Day, Sensible Micro has donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF).
Founded in 1980, the SOWF is a local nonprofit organization that provides scholarships and educational counseling to surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps special operations personnel who have lost their lives in the line-of-duty.
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides financial assistance for higher education at colleges and universities as well as technical and trade schools. They also offer educational advising, torturing services and preschool grants.
Though the Special Operations Warrior Foundation’s primary mission is to provide access to scholastic resources and funding for education, it is not the only way they support special operations personnel and their families. The SOWF gives immediate financial grants to those who have been severely wounded in combat and hospitalized. Financial aid also extends to the families of injured soldiers.
SOWF’s mission to serve the families of our nation’s servicemen and women is so inspiring and important. Donating to them was not only a great way for Sensible to give back to our community but also to pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom.
